Concorde & Spitfire This is a flown Concorde Turbine Blade and a solid piece of metal is of a Battle of Britain Spitfire Mk1Fuselage R6753, flown by Flight Lieutenant David John Pinckney in which he was shot down in combat on 29th August 1940 by a German BF 109e.Pilot Pinckney bailed out safely with slight Injury and minor burns.
